It was a good run, but E.O. Smith/Tolland unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They came up short against the Tolland Eagles, falling 9-3. If the Bucks were looking for revenge after losing 4-3 to the Eagles when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

E.O. Smith/Tolland's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-2. As for Tolland, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

E.O. Smith/Tolland will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Conard at 4:00 p.m. The Red Wolves will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Bucks surely won't give up without a fight. As for Tolland, they will face off against Southington at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
