Waterloo had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.9 runs) and they went ahead and made it ten on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Jersey Panthers with a sharp 10-3 win. Considering the Bulldogs have won eight matches by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Aidan Dintelman made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 17 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Sam Juelfs, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more hits the last three times she's played. Grayce Mayer was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Waterloo's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-2. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Jersey, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-12-1.

Looking ahead, Waterloo will head out to square off against Waltonville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Spartans' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Bulldogs' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Jersey, they will challenge Carrollton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hawks have averaged an impressive 12 runs per game this season.
