Football Recap: Nature Coast Tech Sharks vs. Lecanto Panthers
Nature Coast Tech put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 37-21 win over the Lecanto Panthers. That's more bragging rights for the Sharks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Nature Coast Tech's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jasir Harvin, who rushed for 61 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 85 receiving yards. Harvin showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 51 yards. Timothy "T3" Gaynor handled things on the ground, rushing for 106 yards.

When it comes to explaining why Lecanto lost, don't look at Jt Tipton. Despite the final result, he threw for 210 yards and a touchdown on only 13 passes, and also rushed for 54 yards on only five carries. Caden Moore was Tipton's top target, rushing for 29 yards and two touchdowns.
Nature Coast Tech's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Lecanto, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

As for Lecanto, they are taking a road trip to take on Gainesville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Gainesville will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Lecanto surely won't give up without a fight.
