Flag Football Game Preview: Vista Ridge Wolves vs. Air Academy Kadets

The Vista Ridge Wolves will take on the Air Academy Kadets at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Vista Ridge 14.7, Air Academy 12.8) so any points scored will be well earned.

Vista Ridge is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering The Classical Academy just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They were beaten by the Titans 47-6.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Air Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They blew past The Vanguard School 33-6 on Thursday. The Kadets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by 27 points or more this season.

Air Academy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 10.6 points on average over those games. As for Vista Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.

Vista Ridge won a matchup that couldn't have been any closer in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, slipping by Air Academy 7-6. Do the Wolves have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Kadets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
