There's no place like home for Fort Bend Bush, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They blew past the Fort Bend Elkins Knights 15-5 on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Broncos needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Kiersten Kyle was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over 3.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March of 2024. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles.

In other batting news, Fort Bend Bush got a massive performance out of Alayna Rodriguez, who scored three runs while going 4-for-4. Victoria Aldridge was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base.
