Baseball Recap: Cazenovia Comes Up Short

Cazenovia managed to slip by Christian Brothers Academy the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Lakers lost 11-1 to the Brothers on Thursday. The Lakers just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Cazenovia's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Christian Brothers Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Cazenovia will welcome Jordan-Elbridge at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Lakers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season. As for Christian Brothers Academy, they will square off against Liverpool at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
