Basketball Recap: Lansing Christian Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pewamo-Westphalia, Lansing Christian was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Carson City-Crystal Eagles by a score of 47-39. The Pilgrims have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

The win got Lansing Christian back to even at 2-2. As for Carson City-Crystal, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lansing Christian will be home for the holidays to greet Saranac at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Carson City-Crystal, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Merrill at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles will be up against the Vandals' rather soft defense (which has allowed 64.25 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
