Softball Recap: Lincoln Takes a Loss

After flying high against Mount Tahoma last Thursday, Lincoln came back down to earth. The Abes came up short against the Silas Rams on Monday, falling 25-9. The defeat continues a trend for the Abes in their meetings with the Rams: they've now lost three in a row.

Joy Wilde made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Leilani Tufu, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Silas, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Lincoln wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 21-0 win against Foss on the 3rd. As for Silas, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 21-8 defeat against Gig Harbor on the 2nd.
