Basketball Recap: Carver Comes Up Short

Carver suffered their closest defeat since December 20, 2024 on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Woodland Wolfpack by a score of 54-52. The game marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Carver's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Woodland, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Carver will square off against Southwest Atlanta Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Warriors have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Woodland, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Union Grove at 7:30 p.m. on December 2.
