Baseball Game Preview: Fort Bend Willowridge Eagles vs. Stafford Spartans

For the second straight game, Fort Bend Willowridge will face off against Stafford. The Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Fort Bend Willowridge has struggled recently with three defeats in a row, while Stafford will arrive with three straight wins.

Fort Bend Willowridge fell victim to Stafford and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Spartans, falling 15-0.

For Stafford's part, David Faltysek tossed a big game, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Those 11 strikeouts gave Faltysek a new career-high.
