Soccer Recap: Bermudian Springs Sets Scoring Season-High Against Fairfield

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bermudian Springs). They put the hurt on the Fairfield Knights with a sharp 8-1 win on Thursday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Bermudian Springs' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 254th, while Fairfield are ranked 526th).

Bermudian Springs has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those six matches. As for Fairfield, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12-1.
