Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Josey couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They lost 65-45 to the Hardaway Hawks on Friday. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.

Hardaway's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Rhianna Boynton, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 13 boards. The matchup was Boynton's fifth in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mikayla Johnson, who went 7-for-16 on her way to 21 points and five rebounds.

Josey's loss dropped their record down to 24-4. As for Hardaway, they are on a roll lately: they've won 19 of their last 20 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-6 record this season.

Josey does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hardaway, they will challenge Murray County at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a 15-game winning streak alive.
