Softball Recap: Lincoln's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Lincoln entered their tilt with Woonsocket on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 15-3 margin over the Villa Novans. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 15-0 on April 11th.

London Rapko looked comfortable as she tossed four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Brielle Lambert, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Mara Kapadia also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

The win got Lincoln back to even at 5-5. As for Woonsocket, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-8.
