Football Game Preview: Ridgefield Park Scarlets vs. Tenafly Tigers

Ridgefield Park is a perfect 3-0 against Tenafly since September of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Scarlets will be playing at home against the Tigers at 12:00 p.m.

Ridgefield Park made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Fair Lawn, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Scarlets fell just short of the Cutters by a score of 24-21 on Friday. The Scarlets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Tenafly, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Bergen Tech 34-2. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Tenafly's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Ridgefield Park, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Ridgefield Park took their victory against Tenafly in their previous matchup back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 31-6 score. Will the Scarlets repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
