Columbia lost to Oakwood Academy back in December of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Eagles enjoyed a cozy 67-48 victory over the Mustangs.

When it comes to explaining why Oakwood Academy lost, don't look at Jadon Williams. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 20 points and ten boards. Williams is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last seven games he's played dating back to last season. Chris Lee was another key player, putting up nine points.

The win got Columbia back to even at 2-2. As for Oakwood Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Columbia will head out to take on Huntsville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oakwood Academy, they will venture away from home to challenge Skyline at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday. The game will give the Mustangs their first taste of in-conference action this season.
