Rickover Naval has won four straight games at home, while Jones has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Seadragons will welcome the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Rickover Naval and Prosser meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Monday. The Seadragons blew past the Falcons 27-5. The Seadragons' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Soli Correa made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over four innings pitched. Correa was also stellar in the batter's box, firing off three stolen bases, eight RBI, and three runs while going 5-for-5. Those five hits gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Rickover Naval got a massive performance out of Kayla Mateo, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with one home run, five runs, and four RBI. Those five runs gave Mateo a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Sofia Fuentes, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with four stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI.
Rickover Naval kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.4 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 11.6.
Meanwhile, Jones got the win against Senn on Monday by a conclusive 18-4.
Like Rickover Naval, Jones also got a great game from a two-way player: Anna Black. She struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up four earned runs off six hits. With that strong performance, Black is now averaging an impressive 5.1 strikeouts per game. She was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.
In other batting news, Lucy Paskiewicz was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two doubles. Paskiewicz is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season. Jamilette Hernandez was another key player, going 3-for-4 with four stolen bases and two runs.
Rickover Naval is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.4 runs over those games. As for Jones, their win bumped their record up to 12-1.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Rickover Naval has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 10.7 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Jones struggles in that department as they've been averaging 12.1 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
