Football Game Preview: Lakeland Lakers vs. Fairfield Falcons

The Lakeland Lakers will square off against the Fairfield Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Lakeland is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 42 points last Friday, they were much more limited against West Noble on Friday. They were beaten by the Chargers 34-7. The Lakers haven't had much luck with the Chargers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Fairfield fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Garrett on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 21-14 to the Railroaders.

Lakeland's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Fairfield, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
