Soccer Recap: Shady Spring Comes Up Short

After flying high against Oak Hill on Thursday, Shady Spring came back down to earth. The Tigers came up short against the St. Joseph Central Irish on Saturday, falling 5-1. Shady Spring were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Andrew Bahr, who's now up to 15 this season.

Shady Spring's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7-1. As for St. Joseph Central, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 18-1.

Shady Spring didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 6-0 win against Herbert Hoover on the 15th. As for St. Joseph Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 4-0 loss against Huntington on the 14th.
