Basketball Game Preview: Oxon Hill Clippers vs. Potomac Wolverines

The Oxon Hill Clippers are taking a road trip to take on the Potomac Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Oxon Hill has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 267 points over their last three contests.

Last Tuesday, Oxon Hill humbled International High School at Largo with a 123-2 victory.

Oxon Hill's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nigel Harris, who posted 24 points. The game was Harris' third in a row with at least ten points. Donnell Dorsey was another key player, putting up 24 points.

Meanwhile, Potomac came up short against Surrattsville on Tuesday and fell 62-50. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Oxon Hill's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. As for Potomac, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Oxon Hill and Potomac were neck-and-neck when the teams last played back in February, but Oxon Hill came up empty-handed after a 54-53 defeat. Can Oxon Hill avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
