Baseball Recap: Citronelle Takes a Loss

Citronelle fell victim to Faith Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 6-0 to the Rams. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Rams: they've now lost six in a row.

Citronelle saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Curvin Noyd, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Citronelle's loss dropped their record down to 10-20. As for Faith Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season.

Citronelle will head out on the road to challenge Jackson at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Faith Academy, they will face off against Orange Beach at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
