Soccer Preview: Shelby vs. Highland
On Monday Shelby will have to hit the road after three straight games at home. They will take on the Highland Fighting Scots at 7:00 p.m. The two teams each escaped with close wins against their previous opponents.
If Highland heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Shelby took over last week. Shelby's defense stepped up to hand Galion a 1-0 shutout on Wednesday. The Whippets' winning goal came courtesy of Reece Friend.
Meanwhile, Highland had just enough and edged Marion Harding out 4-3 on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Fighting Scots.
