Softball Recap: Southwind Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Southwind duked it out with Whitehaven on Thursday. The Jaguars fell 7-4 to the Tigers. If the Jaguars were looking for revenge after losing 12-8 to the Tigers when the teams met back in April of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Southwind dropped their record down to 3-6 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Whitehaven, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-4.

Southwind has already played their next match (against Germantown), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Whitehaven, they will venture away from home to take on Memphis Central at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
