The Munster Mustangs will head out on the road to face off against the Crete-Monee Warriors at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Munster will be strutting in after a win while Crete-Monee will be coming in after a loss.
Munster will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run on Wednesday, then bounced right back against Bremen on Saturday. The Mustangs put the hurt on the Braves with a sharp 11-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won ten matches by six runs or more so far this season.
Bishop Cappetto was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Cappetto was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April.

In other pitching news, Owen Roberts looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Mason Jarrett, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one run. That's the most stolen bases he has posted over his last ten games. Another player making a difference was Donovan Craig, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.
Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last five contests, Crete-Monee finally came back down to earth on Saturday. They fell just short of Shepard by a score of 3-1. The Warriors' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.
Crete-Monee also got a good showing from Dylan Dee, who pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That's the fewest hits Dee has allowed since May 1st.
On the hitting side, Crete-Monee saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bren Milburn, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.
Munster has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-11-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Crete-Monee, their loss dropped their record down to 21-12.
