Volleyball Recap: Frazee's Undefeated Season over After Seven Games

Frazee lost against Perham back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Hornets fell just short of the Yellowjackets by a score of 2-1. The loss put an end to the Hornets' undefeated start to the season.

Perham's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sophie Nelson, who had 11 digs. Greta Gillespie also deserves some recognition as she had her first digs of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Frazee fell to 6-1. As for Perham, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-4.

Coming up, Frazee will challenge Rothsay at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hornets are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Perham, they have already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Hawley on the 13th.
