Volleyball Recap: Port Isabel Takes a Loss

Port Isabel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Veterans Memorial Chargers. The Tarpons were not able to make up for their defeat to the Chargers from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

Port Isabel's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Veterans Memorial, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

Coincidentally, Port Isabel and Veterans Memorial will both be playing Pace the next time they take the court. The Chargers will head out to face the Vikings at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, while the Tarpons will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
