Soccer Game Preview: Westchester Country Day vs. The Burlington School

The Westchester Country Day Wildcats will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against The Burlington School at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Westchester Country Day is headed into their home opener looking to turn things around after starting their season on the road. They lost 9-0 to Caldwell Academy on Tuesday. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Meanwhile, The Burlington School kept a clean sheet against Cristo Rey Research Triangle on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 10-0 margin over the Bulls. It was an even better day for Alex Eguren as she scored four goals for her team.

Everything went Westchester Country Day's way against The Burlington School in their previous matchup back in March of 2023, as Westchester Country Day made off with a 10-3 win.
