Aniguiin gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tukurngailnguq Grizzlies. The win was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on five straight dating back to last season.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Aniguiin was: they took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-14, 25-14.

Tukurngailnguq's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Tukurngailnguq didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Hogarth Kingeekuk Sr. Memorial on the 17th. Hopefully Aniguiin paid attention to the Grizzlies' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Grizzlies at 9:00 p.m. on Saturday.
