Basketball Recap: North Phoenix Preparatory Academy Takes a Loss

North Phoenix Preparatory Academy was the 46-37 winner over Desert Heights Prep when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The North Phoenix Preparatory Academy Gladiators were dealt a 58-27 defeat at the hands of the Desert Heights Prep Yote on Friday. The Gladiators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Phoenix Preparatory Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Desert Heights Prep, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

North Phoenix Preparatory Academy will be home for the holidays to greet Maryvale Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Desert Heights Prep, they will head out on the road to take on Mayer at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
