Volleyball Recap: Northampton Takes a Loss

Northampton lost against Nazareth Area back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Konkrete Kids fell 3-1 to the Blue Eagles. The Konkrete Kids have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Northampton started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 25-27, 25-20, 25-19, 25-15.

Mallory Garland was the offensive standout of the match as she had 17 digs and two aces. That's the most digs she has posted since back in October of 2024. Another player making a difference was Annabel Attanasio, who had five aces.

Northampton now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Nazareth Area, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Northampton has already played their next game (against Emmaus), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Nazareth Area, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Upper Merion Area on the 30th.
