Soccer Game Preview: Terra Linda vs. Redwood

The Terra Linda Trojans will venture away from home to take on the Redwood Giants at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Terra Linda took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They beat San Rafael by a goal, winning 1-0. The Trojans wouldn't have won without Monty Cooke, who scored the game-winner.

Meanwhile, Redwood hasn't lost a match since January 15th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Thursday. Neither they nor Archie Williams could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

With that draw, Redwood's record moves to 6-2-5. As for Terra Linda, they now have a winning record of 7-6-2.

Terra Linda came out on top in a nail-biter against Redwood when the teams last played back in January, sneaking past 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Terra Linda since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
