Baseball Recap: Grace Academy's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Grace Academy came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 16-2 to the McConnellsburg Spartans. The loss put an end to the Knights' undefeated start to the season.

Grace Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaeden Peterson, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI Peterson has posted since back in March of 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, Grace Academy fell to 2-1. As for McConnellsburg, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, Grace Academy will challenge St. John's Catholic Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for McConnellsburg, they will take on Hancock at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
