Softball Preview: Sacred Heart-Griffin Cyclones vs. Carlinville Cavaliers
The Sacred Heart-Griffin Cyclones are taking a road trip to square off against the Carlinville Cavaliers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Sacred Heart-Griffin hasn't scored more than two runs for four games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.
On Wednesday, Sacred Heart-Griffin needed a bit of extra time to put away Springfield. They came out on top against the Senators by a score of 2-1 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). Kenzie Wieland was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 18 over eight innings pitched.
