Volleyball Recap: Mission Vista Takes a Loss

Mission Vista's tournament run continued when they took on Prairie on Saturday. Mission Vista fell just short of Prairie by a score of 2-1. Mission Vista has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Morgan Duse-Anthony paced Mission Vista's offense, picking up eight kills. Duse-Anthony really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 12. Raquel Perez controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Mission Vista's loss dropped their record down to 20-10. As for Prairie, they moved to 9-4 with that win, which also ended their four-match losing streak.

Mission Vista has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Rancho Buena Vista on the 14th. As for Prairie, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Faith Lutheran on the 11th.
