Basketball Recap: Blue Ridge Barons vs. Greenfield Knights
Blue Ridge posted their closest victory since December 14, 2024 on Friday. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 62-61 win over the Greenfield Knights. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Barons also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
Blue Ridge's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Dreylan Creasy-Quirindoongo led the charge by shooting 47% from the field on his way to 20 points and five boards. Blue Ridge will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Carlisle at 6:30 p.m. on the 2nd. As for Greenfield, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 80-68 win against Prince George's Christian Academy on the 22nd.
