Softball Recap: Grangeville Comes Up Short

Grangeville's tournament run continued when they took on Wendell on Saturday. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 7-6. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Makenna York made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Madalyn Green, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.

Grangeville's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Wendell, their victory bumped their record up to 11-5.

Grangeville has already played their next matchup, a 19-15 win against Orofino on the 15th. As for Wendell, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 14-7 victory against Declo on the 15th.
