Basketball Recap: Newburg Comes Up Short

Newburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Iberia Rangers, falling 92-66. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Monday (64), the Wolves still had to take the loss.

Newburg's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Iberia, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-6.

Newburg didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 79-56 loss against Dixon on the 14th. Iberia has also already played their next matchup (against Richland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
