Soccer Recap: Bennett Comes Up Short

After soaring to seven goals the game before, Bennett was a bit more limited in their contest on Wednesday. They fell just short of the DSST: Green Valley Ranch Raptors by a score of 2-1. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Bennett couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Meagan Green, who's now up to three this season.

Bennett's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for DSST: Green Valley Ranch, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Bennett has already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Jefferson on the 4th. As for DSST: Green Valley Ranch, they will head out to square off against DSST: Conservatory Green at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. DSST: Conservatory Green's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so DSST: Green Valley Ranch's offense will have their work cut out for them.
