Volleyball Recap: ThunderRidge Comes Up Short + How To Watch

ThunderRidge lost against Regis Jesuit back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Grizzlies took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders. The Grizzlies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 23-25, 25-22, 25-9.

Emme Phillips was a one-woman wrecking crew For Regis Jesuit. as she had 19 digs and two aces. Those 19 digs gave Phillips a new career-high.

ThunderRidge's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Regis Jesuit, they moved to 3-9 with that victory, which also ended their six-match losing streak.

ThunderRidge and Regis Jesuit could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings. The Grizzlies (ranked 218th) will meet Castle View (ranked 81st) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Regis Jesuit will square off against Rock Canyon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (161 vs. 7).
