Lebanon had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it nine on Saturday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Richlands Blue Tornado. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 4-1 victory on May 1st.

Lebanon's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Richlands, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-8.

Looking ahead, Lebanon will square off against John Battle at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games the Trojans have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Richlands does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
