Volleyball Recap: Butler Comes Up Short

Butler came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Burke County Bears. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bears this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-0 loss last Thursday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-8, 25-5.

Butler's loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 10-9. As for Burke County, the victory (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 26-1.

Butler does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Burke County, they have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Davidson Fine Arts on the 4th.
