Soccer Recap: Westwood Comes Up Short

Westwood lost against Sumter on April 1st, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Redhawks fell just short of the Gamecocks by a score of 2-1.

Westwood's loss dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Sumter, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-7.

Looking ahead, Westwood will challenge Buford at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Buford's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Sumter, they will be playing at home against Summerville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
