Volleyball Recap: Plainfield North Takes a Loss

Plainfield North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bolingbrook Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 on Thursday.

Aarush Singh paced Plainfield North's offense, picking up eight kills. Singh got some help from Joey cavlovic and his 23 assists.

Among those leading the charge was Nahya Scott, who had 18 digs. That's the most digs he has posted over his last ten contests. The team also got some help courtesy of Trevor Wardlow, who had ten digs and one block.

Plainfield North's defeat dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Bolingbrook, their record now sits at 17-4.

Plainfield North has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Hinsdale Central on the 26th. As for Bolingbrook, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against West Aurora on the 26th.
