Andrew Jackson is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They strolled past Florida State University High School with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 60-44. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Seminoles: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Mainland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 52-45 to Lake Mary.

Mainland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Andrew Jackson, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.

Andrew Jackson couldn't quite finish off Mainland when the teams last played back in December of 2021 and fell 46-43. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
