Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Juniata Valley walked away with it. They never let the Portage Mustangs get on the board and left with a 12-0 win on Thursday. Considering the Hornets have won seven matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory (which was Juniata Valley's fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-9-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Portage, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-16.

As of now, neither Juniata Valley nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
