Volleyball Recap: Felton Grove Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Felton Grove was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Southeast Raleigh on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Galaxy came up short against the East Chapel Hill Wildcats on Friday, falling 3-0.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: East Chapel Hill scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-17, 25-19.

East Chapel Hill was led to victory by Lucy Tisch and Avery Ellis. Tisch had seven digs and two aces, while Ellis had seven aces, four digs, and two blocks. That's the most digs Ellis has posted since back in August of 2024.

Felton Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Felton Grove wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Southwestern Randolph on the 16th. As for East Chapel Hill, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 win against East Rowan on the 16th.
