Jessie Crye put in work no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Crye wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Violet Philips, who went 1-for-3 with one triple. That triple was Philips' first of the season.
