Volleyball Recap: Thunder Ridge Titans vs. Skyline Eagles

Thunder Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Skyline Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Titans have suffered since October 24, 2024.

Gabby Grover paced Thunder Ridge's offense, picking up six kills. Grover got some help from Avery Kunz and her nine assists. Jeslynn Furniss controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Skyline found their leader in freshman Evageline Lotulelei, who had four digs and two aces. Lotulelei is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 13 every time she's taken the court this season. Isabelle Rupp also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Thunder Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Skyline, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.
