Softball Recap: Roosevelt Falls Short Against Ranked Brandon Valley

Roosevelt faced Brandon Valley in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Rough Riders fell just short of the Lynx by a score of 2-0. The Rough Riders have struggled against the Lynx recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Roosevelt saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Avery Willis, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Brandon Valley, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-4.

As of now, neither Roosevelt nor the Lynx have any future games scheduled.
