Alcester-Hudson falls despite strong effort from William Hallaway

On Tuesday, Alcester-Hudson was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 50-45 to Garretson. Alcester-Hudson has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Alcester-Hudson still got an impressive performance from William Hallaway, who scored four points along with seven rebounds and four blocks. Another player making a difference was Dominic Van Egdom, who scored four points along with 13 rebounds and two steals.

Alcester-Hudson has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Garretson, their win ended a 11-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-8.

Alcester-Hudson will take on Florence/Henry at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Garretson, they will be playing at home against Colman-Egan at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in South Dakota (Colman-Egan is ranked 112th, while Garretson is ranked 118th).
