Baseball Recap: Smithfield Sentinels vs. Coventry Oakers
There's no place like home for Smithfield, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Coventry Oakers on Saturday. For the Sentinels, this counts as revenge for the 1-0 win the Oakers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.
Moe Villandry was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
